WHY ENCOUNTERS
There is a limit to what we can discover while remaining entirely within the ways of seeing we already know. An Encounter creates a temporary opening beyond those familiar edges. What happens there cannot be predicted or planned. Nor should it be. But often something becomes visible that wasn't visible before.
And with that, we may discover a different version of what was and what is, and possibilities we hadn't previously recognized. This is also where something less measurable can happen. Life can surprise us again. There can be moments of connection, curiosity, wonder, and profound aliveness. Moments that reenchant our relationship with life.

What happens in an Encounter?
WHAT FOLLOWS
Sometimes an Encounter brings clarity. Sometimes it changes the question. Other times, something completely unexpected becomes visible, bringing new meaning and understanding to what we thought we already knew.
The shift may be immediate, or its meaning may unfold over time. What matters most is not trying to control the outcome. It is about becoming receptive to what is trying to emerge and allowing ourselves to encounter something beyond the answers we have already considered.
THE STANCE
An Encounter is not designed to confirm what either of us already believes. It invites us to explore beyond the edges of what we currently know. Therefore, the inquiry begins: “I don’t know.”
In my experience, that's often the hardest part- instead of immediately looking for an explanation or solution, we need to be curious about the situation as it opens up to us. We pay attention to what emerges, including what may not fit our existing understanding or expectations.
THE FRAME
We begin with something that feels important, individually or collectively.
Perhaps a situation you cannot make sense of.
A relationship that keeps returning to the same place.
A decision where every option seems incomplete.
A pattern you understand intellectually, but it still repeats.
Or perhaps nothing is wrong. You simply sense that there is more to see.
INDIVIDUAL ENCOUNTERS
Individual Encounters offer a private space to explore something specific in your life or work. It might concern a relationship, family, work, leadership, a recurring pattern, a difficult choice, a transition, or simply a sense that something isn't moving despite everything you already know about it.
We don't need to begin with the right explanation. We begin with what's there- something that's alive for you right now.
From there, we explore what becomes visible through a systemic and experiential process. The intent is not for me to give you an answer, but to create conditions in which you may encounter your situation differently—and discover possibilities that were not previously available to you.
GROUP ENCOUNTERS
Group Encounters are shared experiential spaces built around systemic exploration and systemic constellations. Some participants bring questions or situations to explore directly. Others participate as representatives or observers.
One of the unusual qualities of such group work is that we can be affected by an encounter even when the question being explored is not our own. Someone else's experience can unexpectedly illuminate something in us. A movement in the group can challenge an assumption. A situation we thought had nothing to do with us can suddenly become deeply familiar. And often, something happens that none of us can easily explain. Those moments are part of what continues to fascinate me about this work.
